Karen Veraa-Perry, CFA

Head of U.S. iShares Fixed Income Strategy at BlackRock

Karen Veraa-Perry, CFA, is the Head of U.S. iShares Fixed Income Strategy at BlackRock. She leads a team that supports iShares fixed income investors, creates content on bond markets and ETFs and helps launch new iShares bond ETF strategies.

 

Mrs. Veraa-Perry is also a regular author on the BlackRock Insights hub. Mrs. Veraa-Perry is frequently sought for her industry knowledge and insights in the media across print and broadcast media including CNBC, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock, she was an investment research analyst at a Registered Investment Advisory firm in Seattle, providing investment solutions for high net worth clients. Mrs. Veraa-Perry began her career as a short-term funding trader in the treasury department of Washington Mutual Bank.

 

Mrs. Veraa-Perry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA Charter holder.
