Important Information: Capital at Risk. The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise and are not guaranteed. Investors may not get back the amount originally invested.
The value of your investment and the income from it will vary and your initial investment amount cannot be guaranteed. The Fund invests in fixed interest securities such as corporate or government bonds which pay a fixed or variable rate of interest. Therefore the value of these securities are sensitive to movements in interest rates; typically when interest rates rise there is a corresponding decline in the market value of bonds. Duration reflects the time it takes for the price of a bond at a particular point in time to be repaid by the payments made by the bond (i.e. the coupon and/or the final payment) to the investor. Accordingly, the higher the duration of a bond, the higher its sensitivity to a change in interest rates.
